Bjerkan Invitational was started in 2009 by Hemsedal-local Christoffer Bjerkan. Hence the name Bjerkan Invitational, which is a free event focusing on the social and a good environment for anyone who spends or considering to spend Easter in at Fauskojordet at Tuv in Hemsedal.
Bjerkan Invitational has been held three Easters in a row and has already been referred to as Norway's most entertaining Easter event. Besides being know as Norway's craziest Easter ski jumping on cross country skis, Bjerkan Invitational steps up with a railjam middle of the field for both skiers and snowboarders, including some of the best in Norway.
This year was no exeption. With small challenges such as no snow, Bjerkan was yet again, with the help of his rock-steady crew, able to create one of the most fun, cozy and enjoyous events Hemsedal and Norway have seen. The sun was out, the music banging and the riders went that extra mile. It all ended with a special riders & crew afterparty followed by a night out at Hemsedal town.We can't wait for next year - first week of April!
